The People Behind Smart Stop
Meet Denise, a skilled and caring Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 15 years of experience in the medical field. Denise began her healthcare career as a medical assistant and, through determination, continued education, and a strong passion for helping others, worked her way up to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her hands-on background as both a medical assistant and registered nurse gives her a practical and patient-focused approach to care.
Throughout her career, Denise has gained expertise in urgent care, pediatrics, hospice care, and nephrology, enriching her ability to deliver comprehensive and personalized medical services. As an active member of the Hispanic community, she is devoted to providing respectful and culturally aware healthcare to all of her patients.
Outside of her work, Denise is proud to be the wife of a military service member, an experience that has instilled in her a deep sense of resilience, flexibility, and community spirit. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring new interests, and staying engaged with her local community.
Denise looks forward to broadening her professional journey, welcoming new patients, and fostering lasting connections built on trust and excellent care.

Meet Jeannie Kosint, a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner in the Phoenix area. Jeannie started her nursing career in 1997 and worked at several major hospitals in Arizona. She worked at different specialty units such as ICU, pediatrics, surgery, cardiac step down, wound care, and medical surgical unit. She completed 2 degrees at Grand Canyon University which includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing.
As a nurse practitioner Jeannie has worked in primary care, wound care, and geriatrics. She currently specializes in urgent care where she found her true calling. She enjoys the patient interaction and focuses on education and preventative health care.
Outside of her professional career, Jeannie loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and her adorable dog, Ginger. Her interest includes crafts, reading, and watching movies.
Jeannie looks forward to expanding her experience into telemedicine. She welcomes new patients and hopes to establish returning patients.
